EDS using Belarc's system in the Navy Marine Corps Intranet program

Maynard, MA -- May 30, 2001 -- Belarc, Inc. today announced that EDS is successfully using its BelManage PC management system in the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) program. The NMCI is one of the largest U.S. Government IT contracts ever awarded, and will result in an enterprise-wide, managed service that will provide the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps with secure, universal access to voice, video and data information exchange.

EDS is using BelManage as part of its Desktop Assessment task to identify the installed software and hardware on tens of thousands of PCs and servers. This data is collected in the field and consolidated in a BelManage database.
